I really do hate to compare, but many people asked which French chef’s restaurant I would return to. Just to be extremely clear, Chef Ripert and Chef Boulud cook with completely different styles, each equally good and extremely worthy of the Michelin stars they’ve earned. Neither restaurant lacks in service nor quality of food. On that note, I am more inclined to return to Chef Ripert's Le Bernardin. It's not so much about the familiarity of tastes in his light French-Asian fusion fare but more about the technique, taking the same flavors levels above and in forms unfamiliar...amazing!
